With a grassroots, do-it-yourself, thinking outside of the box and breaking all the rules mentality, Mario Massa has taken the Better Breakbeat Bureau from nothing more than a concept and turned it into a full-scale, all-encompassing breakbeat promotions and productions company. Never satisfied by the conventions that surround him and inspired almost wholly by the music, he continues to spawn a breakbeat scene where there once was none in existence. He continues to push that sound to the forefront, playing local clubs that never accepted it before, finding outlets for artists from out of town that no other promoters in Milwaukee would risk booking, and making those DJs a main stage attraction at the clubs and parties that his crew gets booked for. With help from a crew of passionate, in-it-for-the-music DJs, he has helped the Better Breakbeat Bureau become one of the most revered crews in the midwest. His music selection is one of the most advanced when it comes to breakbeats. He can deliver tracks ranging any number of styles or moods, and he never backs down from a new challenge, always working to get the dancefloor moving. He has shared the booth with DJs such as DJ Icey, General Midi, Uberzone, Autobots, Far Too Loud, Deekline, DJ Monk, Slyde, Simon Bassline Smith, Reid Speed, Danny tha Wildchild, Keith MacKenzie, DJ Fixx, General Malice, DJ Slugo, DJ Lego and Justin Long.

Jeff Hunter, the host of the program, has been playing breakbeat music through out the Midwest USA for a decade. Having been on college radio in the late 90’s, Jeff was fully involved in the radio broadcast experience and it’s been calling to him ever since he left in Y2K. Jeff has now teamed up with the worlds premier breakbeat oriented internet radio station, www.NSBRadio.co.uk!

NSB Radio started as an off-shoot of www.NuSkoolBreaks.co.uk in July 2004 and has been running ever since. We started out just doing weekdays, quickly upping our timetable to the full seven days. We now run live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week broadcasting from around the globe. No pre-records, no archives, just live interaction with listeners. In 2008 and 2009 NSBRadio won Best Radio Station at Breakspoll, the international breakbeat awards. Of our shows, “MjooGoos HighHeels Sessions” and Ben and Lex's “Beats and Bobz Show”, were voted into the Top 5 Radio Shows, only being beaten by Annie Nightingale (Radio 1), Jay Cunning (now on Kiss 100), Strongarm Sessions (with Elite Force) and Tayo (Ex-Kiss 100, now Radio 1)!!
To counteract these near-wins, NSBRadio has upped their stance in the Radio world - doing more live broadcasts, getting bigger and better Radio servers, re-branding the radio station, massive street promotion campaigns and hosting massive events around the world. This year NSBRadio has broadcasted LIVE from the Glade Festival which won the 2008 best dance festival award at the UK festival awards. NSBRadio has also hosted and broadcasted events from the UK, China, and the Winter Music Conference in Miami giving their listeners never before heard sets from world renowned DJs.
And that brings us to now...
NSBRadio has just signed up a heap of new DJs for the station to make it bigger and better. NSBRadio has just moved web servers so they can host Podcasts and downloadable archives of every show that is broadcast. Finally, they’re just finishing a new website just for the radio station at www.NSBRadio.co.uk.
